FAQs

Ordering & Delivery

All orders must be placed by Thursday at 11:59 PM each week. This gives us time to prepare your fresh-baked goods for pickup.

At the time of ordering you can choose where you want to pick up your order that week. The pick up options will be outlined in the weekly menu.

We understand plans change! Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your order. Changes can typically be accommodated until Wednesday evening, as we begin our baking schedule on Thursday morning. Email us at orders@threehandsbakery.com or reply to your order confirmation.

Product Information

For best results, store your bread at room temperature in a paper bag or bread box for 2-3 days. Avoid plastic bags, which can make the crust soft. For longer storage:

Freezing: Slice the bread first, then freeze in an airtight bag for up to 3 months. Toast slices directly from frozen.

Reviving: Sprinkle the crust lightly with water and warm in a 350°F oven for 5-10 minutes to restore crispness.

No. All our products are made with simple, natural ingredients and contain no preservatives or artificial additives. Our sourdough uses only flour, water, salt, and our carefully maintained sourdough starter. This is why proper storage is important and why our bread is best enjoyed fresh.

Currently, all our products contain wheat flour and are not suitable for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. We work in a small bakery where all products are made in the same space. However, our sourdough fermentation process does break down some of the gluten, which some people find easier to digest. Please consult with your healthcare provider if you have concerns.

Sourdough is made using wild yeast and bacteria naturally present in the flour and environment, rather than commercial yeast. The long fermentation process (12-48 hours) develops complex flavors, creates a beautiful texture, and makes the bread more digestible. Our starter has been lovingly maintained and fed for years—it's like a living member of our bakery family!

We send out a weekly email to our subscribers every Monday with that week's menu. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed! We also post updates on our Facebook page.
